Stony Creek Racing Club is the home of thoroughbred racing in beautiful South Gippsland.

The picturesque racecourse is located on the South Gippsland Highway, on the edge of the sleepy Stony Creek township - home to only 281 residents. However, the race club is known to draw a crowd ten times that amount for its summer holiday race meetings and the Ladbrokes Stony Creek Cup in March. These feature events bring the community together offering an abundance of free kid's entertainment and activities, making Stony Creek also popular with holidaymakers staying in the region. Food trucks have also become a big hit, and the club ensures there's plenty of atmosphere at every race day with live music a staple.

Stony Creek races five times a year, with the feature event the Ladbrokes Stony Creek Cup held on the Sunday of the long weekend in March.
With some of the state's best seaside destinations and natural wonders just down the road, why not make a weekend of it?
